The Lobster Machine was designed in 1996 by a company called AGE, Inc. After a number of years in business AGE, Inc. closed their doors and The Lobster Zone, Inc. took over sales, service, and design of the lobster machine in 2001.
The Lobster Zone, Inc. took the lobster machine and redesigned it to make it a modern state of the art gaming machine, making the machine more reliable and user friendly. The new version of the lobster machine is in its second year of operation and has proven to be extremely reliable and very lucrative for its distributors.
The Lobster Zone, Inc. is a Florida based company which was established in 1997. From 1997 through 2004 The Lobster Zone, Inc. was a distributor for the lobster machines and is now the sole manufacturer of the machine. Our company’s mission is to become a leading producer and supplier of innovative, novelty game machines and other consumer friendly vending devices. The lobster zone machine is perhaps the most exciting development to hit the vending machine industry in the last decade. The First of an exciting series, “The lobster zone” self-contained, salt water system provides players the opportunities to catch and eat a live Maine lobster.
Currently The Lobster Zone, Inc. has over 300 machines nation wide, and is increasing that number every week.
The Lobster Zone, Inc. was founded by Ernie Pappas in 1997, and for more then 9 years Mr. Pappas has invested a great amount of time, effort and resources in developing a low maintenance, reliable system, embodying proprietary and patent pending technology. These efforts now place The Lobster Zone, Inc. in a position to capitalize on the rapidly increasing vending service market. Mr. Pappas has a proven history of success in the entertainment, radio, and lodging industries. Mr. Pappas has concentrated his efforts on the continual improvement, through innovative design and engineering of this original design.
The Lobster Zone, Inc. currently has over 20 employees including a marine biologist that makes sure the lobsters are in a safe and health investment. With the size of our Company we are able to put out over 30 machines a month.
